We look forward to welcoming you to this new “Technical Support Resource”.
There are not many people who can say that they do not love using Facebook.
As soon as we registered the domain-name “blogfix.live” we created a Facebook Page and Group. Whether these came before we even installed WordPress on our temporary web-hosting we can not quite remember. Yes, it is this important to at least create a Facebook Page for your Blog! Even if you do not start posting to your page immediately (we didn’t until about 6-weeks later), you should at least reserve the page-name that matches your blog’s name if possible. When we were researching the name “Blog Fix Live”, not only did we check that the domain name was available before we purchased it but we also checked for its availability on the top three social-channels; Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
Shortly afterward, once we had decided that Blog Fix Live would become a permanent tutorial blog, we also purchased “blogfixlive.com” and pointed it to this “.live” domain. Most people will assume a “.com” at the end of the URL. When you verbally talk about your website, often people will not realize that the extended-gTLD (Generic Top Level Domain) is the ending and assume it is simply the domain name and add the “.com” to the end of it.
We announced the purchase of our secondary domain on our Facebook Page. We do not always publish the same information to all of our Social-media channels. So, you must follow us on ALL of them!
Please come and join in the fun!
